It is Christmas. A little boy and girl are in disgrace. Their parents
are furious with them and a visit from Santa seems highly unlikely. Banished
to their room they find the story of Hansel and Gretel
and quickly identify with the plight of the abandoned children of the
fairy tale. Soon their imaginations take over and they are living the
story of Hansel and Gretel, while their bedroom is magically transformed
into the forest and the Witch's house.
Having suffered the trials and tribulations of the fairy tale characters,
the children return to reality and a heart warming and seasonal reconciliation
with their parents. A delightful musical score, enchanting settings and
puppets make this an ideal Christmas entertainment for children and their
parents.
