TENDERFOOT is an apprentice programme for transition year students interested in theatre.  No experience is required.  The only requirement is interest.

If you’re interested in writing we will provide you with training and support while you write a play.  If you’re interested in other aspects of theatre we will provide you with workshops on directing, set & costume design, sound & lights, production management and production administration.

Workshops are planned from September 2008 - January 2009.

TENDERFOOT will culminate in the production of a number of the original plays written during the programme. They will be produced in The Loose End, the studio space in The Civic Theatre.  You, OUR TENDERFEET, will perform in the plays and will design the set, costumes, lights and sound.  You will manage and administrate the production.  The last few days of the TENDERFOOT PROGRAMME will see your work on stage in The Loose End.
