"It is a delight to come across a children's Christmas Show that is engaging right across age scpectrum. This production combines sophisticated live onstage music, an original score, an excellent set and dynamic audience interaction. The use of live music is particularly striking and is underpinned by consummate skill. This is a most impressive enjoyable production."

Based on ‘The Musicians of Bremen’ by the Brother’s Grimm

Show Dates: 24th November 2005 - 27th January 2006

This is the story of a donkey, a hound, a cat and a rooster. It’s Christmas and people no longer have time to look after their pets. The creatures have out lived their usefulness!

Can they escape a nasty end? Can they overcome hard times? Can they continue to follow their dreams?  This is the triumphant story of their individual adventures, their coming together and their hilarious attempts to form a pop band.

Storytellers and the Civic brought you the fabulous production of ‘Hansel & Gretel’ - this show promises to be even more fun. Featuring an original musical score full of songs you’ll be singing on your way home. Fun for all the family!

This production opened in The Civic Theatre on Thursday 24th November, touring to Draíocht, Blanchardstown and An Grianán, Letterkenny before returning to The Civic. Final performance was on 27th January 2006.
